MCTA’s Back to School Statement

MCTA would like to thank Superintendent Sable, Assistant Superintendent Quallich, the MCS administrative team, and the MCS Board of Education for their deliberate considerations throughout this difficult process. Balancing student, staff, and community health and safety with the best educational practices during the COVID-19 pandemic is a monumental task that no one should have to face.

MCTA believes our students’ education is best served face to face in a safe, familiar, and common educational environment; however, at this time and under the current pandemic conditions, we believe the decision to return to school online this fall is the best and wisest. MCTA will continue to work together with the administration, the MCS Board of Education, and the broader community to provide a safe, positive, and enriching educational experience that our students and the Medina community deserves.  We look forward to the days we all return face to face to resume our educational relationships.
